16	Rigger	Passed VIII with National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of Rigger/Fitter trade.

Note : National  Apprenticeship  Certificate  (NAC)  Examination  conducted  by NCVT under the aegis of Directorate General of Employment and Training, Ministry of Labour, Government of India.

Experience Criteria : Candidates should have minimum 2 years experience in a shipbuilding  industry in the respective trades as mentioned at para 2 above. However, where the candidates have worked in two or more of the above-mentioned  trades in the shipbuilding industry, total work  experience of  minimum 2 years in these trades will be reckoned for considering their eligibility. The experience certificate should be issued by the Personnel / HR department.

Age Limit : 18 – 33 years as on 1st August 2012. (Relaxation – SC/ST – 5 yrs ; OBC – 3 yrs ; PH – 10 years)

Probation Period : 6 months

Pay and Allowance : Selected candidates  appointed in the skilled Gr.I category will get basic pay of Rs.7500/- per month in the ID-5 pay scale of 7500-22430. Besides the basic pay, they will be entitled to industrial DA, HRA, CPF & allowances etc. as per rules of the  Company.

Grant  of annual  increment  will  be as per  Company  rules.  The selected candidates will be governed by the ESIC Act for the purpose of medical benefits. However, in case the operatives are exempted from the ESIS coverage due  to  enhancement  of  wages,  they  will  be  covered  under  the  Company’s medical benefit scheme upto Rs.1.5 lakhs per annum for the employees and their eligible family members.
